WiZ, a smart lighting company that is owned by Signify, the same company that owns fellow smart lighting maker Philips Hue, has announced new lighting products that will be released at various times throughout the fall season. – although some new products are available now. WiZ is known for its catalog of smart home and energy-efficient lighting products that work with various smart home hub systems like Amazon Alexa and Google Home.
WiZ’s new bar and floor lamps are now available, such as its Pole Floor Light and Bar Linear Light. The Pole floor lamp was designed to wash your walls with soft ambient light and color, giving you the flexibility to mix and match colors to best suit your lighting needs. In September, the new WiZ Portable Button, which will cost $24.99, will be available. This product will act as a remote control for all lights connected to WiZ. Finally, the WiZ Mobile Portable Light is coming in October. This product works as a nice little dynamic lantern designed for mobility around the house, but not outdoors. Although it may look like it can work outdoors, it has no water resistance. This mobile portable light will retail for $89.99 and will apparently have a battery life of around 10 hours.
“Today’s launches respond to the growing popularity of portable, indirect and smart lighting with versatile new products, and we are excited about the many possibilities available to our customers.” said Giuliano Ghidini, UKI Commercial Manager of Signify in the company’s blog post about new WiZ products.
