Memorial Day Cocktails 2022 – Festive Drinks to Make for MDW

Memorial Day is almost upon us, which means it’s time to get your swimsuits out of storage, start shopping for sunscreen, and plan your pool party on May 30. Not only does the holiday bring with it the first three-day weekend in three months (it’s really long, isn’t it?), but it also means something bigger: the arrival of a sweet and mild summer. And I’m going to applaud that. (*Cue “What time is it” by the High School Musical 2 cast.*)

After the last two years we’ve had, I really bet this summer will be good, and I think we should all at least try to kick off the season in style. Naturally, that calls for a drink or two (or three?). Sure, you can pop by your local Walgreens and buy a six-pack of fortified seltzer, but I suggest we put a little more effort into the festivities this year. Get a little fancy. Buy this new bottle for your bar cart. Use a shaker. We deserve it, people! We’ve kind of reached Memorial Day 2022!

So grab your bar tools, pull out that cute goblet, and get ready to get your ~mixologist~ on board. Below, I’ve rounded up a number of truly delicious, festive, and wholesome Memorial Day cocktails to whip up this holiday weekend. Bravo to the reds, whites and booze blue!
