DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) – Boca Raton resident Yomaris Lopez reportedly had such a driving problem in the Military Trail and Atlantic area of ​​Delray Beach around 9:20 p.m. on September 30 that concerned witnesses called 911. Delray Beach police found Lopez exiting the Burger King parking lot at 5080 West Atlantic Avenue, and allegedly watched her hit the sidewalk. An officer then carried out a roadside check.

According to the police report just released and reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com, Lopez “stated that she drank two drinks that were margaritas. When asked to hit the sidewalk, she replied ‘sometimes , you do that” and laughed.

Lopez, according to police, struggled to complete a series of field sobriety tests. She then provided a breath sample which gave alcohol levels of 0.201 and 0.192. The legal limit in Florida is 0.08.

Yomaris Lopez, 57, of Birchwood Drive in Boca Raton, was sentenced to Palm Beach County Jail for impaired driving. She was later released on her own recognizance.
