Apprentices and students often require a loan. Whether to pay the cost of living such as rent, public transport, Internet and food, to renovate the (first) apartment or to buy home furnishings. The income of students is often close to zero.
Although many students try to stay afloat with part-time jobs, they often find that there is too little time to study and reduce their working hours or give up their secondary employment. Depending on the field of study, a degree course requires up to 70 hours of work and study time per week – incidentally studying and “Party all day long” are only prejudices that persist in the population.
1st step – credit financial aid
In order not to necessarily have to take out a loan for students without income, the credit financial aid claim should be reviewed. Simply go to your local credit financial aid office. Often, however, the parents earn “too much” so that only little or no credit financial aid is paid (also applies to students). The parents therefore have to pay for part or all of the needs calculated by the credit financial aid office – in the form of maintenance payments. Whether loans have to be paid off or there is a bad relationship with the parents does not matter. So many students have to take legal action against their parents, which nobody likes to do.
Step 2 – Support from the Job Center
The job center will give you information about accommodation and heating subsidies. Because the monthly, financial need is usually above the credit financial aid office calculated. For credit financial aid as well as for the Jobcenter subsidy applies: Be quick, because retrospective payments are only possible from the application.
Step 3 – apply for housing allowance
Housing money can also be given to students in order to avoid possibly a loan for students without income. For this you need the rejection from the Jobcenter. You can apply for housing allowance in your local Bürgeramt.
4th step – state education loan
You can also apply for a subsidized educational loan to pay your living expenses. This is paid each month in an amount of up to 300 € and must be fully repaid after graduation.
Alternative: Credit for students without income
A loan for students without income but you get synonymous with many banks as a normal banking product. You can either take out a student loan or a normal consumer loan. The special feature of a student loan is the monthly payment. The normal consumer credit must, however, be repaid monthly, which limits the room for maneuver and thus again to earn money animated.
Interest rates are around 4 – 7 percent. These loans can be found – even with negative credit bureau – via the free and non-binding credit comparison. The biggest benefit of having a loan for students without income is that you can focus on studying and increase your chances of success. With a successful and quickly completed degree, you have good opportunities in the labor market, which is always open to academics. Thus, the repayment should not be a problem.
